Orin Swift Wine Pairing Dinner at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa

Angle Restaurant at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa will host its first Angle Uncorked Winemaker Dinner Series with an Orin Swift wine pairing dinner on Thursday, February 25.
The evening will begin with a Supper Club style reception at 5:30 p.m. in Angle’s Champagne Bar followed by an elegant multi-course dinner at 6:30 p.m. featuring a selection of wines from Orin Swift Cellars.
The evening’s host will be Stan Gross of E&J Gallo Winery. He will be at the dinner to speak about the wines.
During the reception guests will be offered smoked swordfish, aerated lemongrass, toasted coriander honey (paired with Blank Stare); chamomile duck breast, vanilla poached apples, celery root (paired with Fragile Rose); rhubarb gazpacho, Florida strawberries, whipped crème fraiche, heirloom tomato (paired with Mannequin Chardonnay).
The dinner courses and wine pairings will include charred octopus, Holman’s Harvest greens, avocado ‘marble’, lavender vinaigrette (paired with Abstract Cabernet); pan seared lamb belly, pistachio gnocchi, glazed thumbelinas, black berry molasses (paired with 8 Years in the Desert); Intermezzo; and for the main course, dueling braised short ribs and Creekstone prime ribeye, cornmeal porridge, confit tomatoes, fennel & beet jus (paired with Papillon and Mercury Head).
The surprise desert course will be prepared by Pastry Chef Zac (paired with Machete).

Guests will be entered in a raffle to win framed artwork of an Orin Swift label, and will have the opportunity to purchase the wines at retail prices after the dinner.
