Lincoln Road Unveils New Public Art Installation: PRIDE247

Euclid Oval 700 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL, United States
Join us on Lincoln Road to celebrate Miami Beach Pride month with a new public installation called PRIDE247, by local artists AMLgMATD, a Miami-based collaboration between Laz Ojalde and Natalie Zlamalova. The artwork will become the focal point of the picture-perfect gathering space as a subtle reminder that we are individuals who together weave the fabric of our society. The artist duo channels their colorful creativity into reconstructing the LGBTQ pride flag by using individual polypropylene webbing straps that weave through the palm trees hovering Lincoln Road’s Euclid Oval. The artists will elevate the district’s entry points on Washington Ave. and Alton Road, as well as the Euclid Oval, by incorporating colorful textile sleeves to all the planters reflecting the pride progressive flag. AMLgMATD's approach involves redefining environments using repetition with familiar and unfamiliar materials in site-specific settings while integrating historical, geographical and cultural research into their artistic visual language. Stick around after the unveiling for the annual lighting ceremony, Pride Lights the Night, which honors the memory of the Pulse Nightclub and Club Q shootings.

Timelessness: Old Masters, Modern + Contemporary Art Exhibition

Frascione Gallery 256 Worth Avenue, Via Amore, Suite O, Palm Beach, FL, United States
Frascione Gallery, founded in 1893 in Italy, presents its inaugural Palm Beach gallery exhibition featuring Old Masters, Contemporary, and Modern paintings and sculptures. Curated by Massimo Pulini in partnership with Aria Art Gallery (Florence), “Timelessness” explores how art transcends time and place. Art never ceases to tell different stories to everyone and this narrative is tied to a remote time and distant geography. The exhibition aims to serve as a laboratory for researching these connections, giving rise to dialectical forms between the past and present, near and remote. Exhibiting artists include: Girolamo Forabosco; Nicola Samori; Carlo Dolci; Ettore Frani; Giovanni Battista Vanni; Fabrizio Corneli; Master of the Scandicci Lamentation; Salustiano; Giuliano Bugiardini; Diango Hernandez; Benvenuto di Giovanni; Carole Feuerman; Evangelista di Pian di Meleto; and Michelangelo Bastiani. Frascione Gallery 256 Worth Avenue Via Amore, Suite O Palm Beach, FL 33480 Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm Sunday appointments upon request. +1.561.444.2092 frascione.com info@frascione.com
