Set up and presented as a 24/7 gallery, guests are invited to view the museum-quality pieces in the hotel’s public spaces at any time of day. Seven pieces in the collection include the PALE BLUE DOT, referencing our journey on this tiny planet; LEAP OF FAITH, which revolves around taking risks; and LOVE IS STILL THE ANSWER, which was inspired by a Jason Mraz song.

“An Exhibit for Peace” at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach’s latest art installation, “An Exhibit for Peace,” is directed by Ronit Neuman in partnership with the prestigious Manolis Projects Gallery, founded and co-owned by artist J. Steven Manolis and his wife, Myrthia Natalie Moore. The exhibition is dedicated to nature’s unifying colors of Miami Beach’s sun, beach, water, and sky and the blue and yellow shades of the Ukrainian flag. It features over 30 specially commissioned paintings by acclaimed contemporary artists – Ron Burkhardt, Carol Calicchio, Samuel Gomez, Jill Krutick, Aurelia Majorel, Timi Ogundipe, Annemarie Ryan, and Camilla Webster – displayed mainly in the resort’s restaurant Fuego y Mar and some of the resort’s common areas. Proceeds from the art sold in this collection will go to José Andrés’s World Central Kitchen’s support efforts in Ukraine, helping deliver meals to countless families in war-torn parts of the country.

“A Concert of the Seven Decades & Beyond” at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach – Tuesday, November 29

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, in collaboration with Eric Goldemberg and Veronica Zalcberg of MONAD Studio and Scott F. On November 29, the hotel will host a concert in partnership with the Miami Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the past seven decades of iconic Miami history, arts, and culture. As part of the performance, the 3D-printed instruments will be played by orchestra members. As an ode to the Magic City, conductor Eduardo Marturet will specially curate a soundtrack of songs central to Miami’s identity for the orchestra to perform in front of an influential crowd of local, regional, and national notables, tastemakers, politicians, art collectors, and artists.

“Into the Wild (Future)” at Sagamore South Beach

Sagamore South Beach, Miami Beach’s historic art deco hotel known for its year-round art programming and museum-quality exhibitions, is once again celebrating Miami Art Week with a series of interactive activations and events. The hotel’s two-story bungalows will also be turned into mini-galleries where visiting artists sleep upstairs and display their work downstairs. Guests may even catch them working on projects as they stroll through the hotel’s sculpture gardens.

Villa Azur Miami Beach

From Wednesday, November 30, to Saturday, December 3, Miami Beach hot spot Villa Azur will be showcasing works by Toronto-based artists Diogo “D-Snow” Neves and Max Jamali. The chic French supper club is known for its glitz and glamour, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine, and avant-garde evenings in its enchanting open-air courtyard. On Wednesday, November 30, guests can attend the weekly dinner soirée, Peligrosa, from 6:30 p.m. to close, featuring fire girls, beats by DJ Yez, a live saxophonist, and more. On Thursday, it’s the original Thursday Night Dinner Party with eclectic entertainment and beats by DJ Stephan M. On Friday, December 2, the restaurant will be hosting an invite-only cocktail reception for media and VIPs, where artist D-Snow will be live painting. The party continues into Friday evening and picks up again on Saturday night to close out the festive weekend.

Sao Paulo-born Diogo “D-Snow” Neves started his career as a teen with graffiti street art that grew into a passion. He uses a variety of materials such as spray paints, acrylics, diamond dust, prints, and resin to make his pieces, which he describes as “urban with a twist of modern.” He has now expanded his portfolio to include sculptures, cars, murals, boats, and more.

Max Jamali is a mixed-media artist with an award-winning background in fashion photography. He’s known for using luxury materials such as diamond dust, exotic leather, 24-karat gold, genuine silver, and Swarovski crystals to create pieces that scream opulence. Each piece features his “M” logo handcrafted from snakeskin.

The Elser Hotel & Residences continues to push boundaries during Art week by inviting guests to not only contemplate art but also experience it by expressing themselves through body art. The sprawling sun deck will also be the place to get made-to-fade tattoos while enjoying a special pop-up bar experience with a local mixologist.
